Pedal Thru The Pines is a fundraising event benefiting the Family Crisis Center. With a cycling tour of 16 mile, 27 mile 50 and 62 mile routes to choose from participating cyclists will enjoy traversing through the beautiful loblolly pines. These routes are designed to engage cyclists with picturesque scenery and the challenging terrain of Bastrop and Buescher State Parks and the surrounding Bastrop County countryside.
The event will be held on beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Bastrop High School. With the continued growth of our event, we are estimating 1500 cyclists traveling from all areas of the state to participate in the 2010 Pedal.
The proceeds from the event will be distributed to the Family Crisis Center and help support the Center’s vision of a safe community built on equality without the existence of violence.
