Pedal Thru The Pines is a cycling event benefiting the Family Crisis Center. Participating cyclists may choose from routes of 16 miles, 27 miles, 50 miles or 63 miles. The event takes place each year in early March, in Bastrop, TX. The Pedal Thru The Pines ride is a recommended training ride for the BP MS150. All event proceeds support the programs and services offered by the agency. The event is organized and directed by the agency with support from board members, volunteers, and community partners who volunteer their time, provide donations, and serve as event sponsors.
This year's event will take place on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012, 9AM Bastrop, TX
The Family Crisis Center invites you to our 10th Annual Pedal Thru The Pines! Cyclists will enjoy riding through the beautiful Loblolly Pines in Bastrop and Buescher State Parks and traversing the surrounding country roads of Bastrop, Fayette and Lee Counties. The routes provide a unique experience for cyclists of every level. Well stocked rest stops, friendly volunteers and a top notch veteran SAG Team add to the success of this event.
